So this Sunday Reflections is going to be a bit different. I won’t be reflecting on any one quote. This week y’all get to do all the reflecting, and I really hope y’all do. Now I don’t want to push anything down your throat, but just try, relax, and reflect. I have four religious songs that are my go to when I need a little pick me up. This Sunday I will be taking those four songs (all linked below) and pulling out my favorite lines. Then it is your turn to reflect on those lines. Comment down below, tweet me on Twitter, or just spend some time with God.

“Hold You Up”

“The world is so broken and sometimes it leaves you cold.
And at times you can’t feel the fire to guide you home.
The demons will haunt you and try to steal what you know.
But the angels, they brought you, and they’re gonna hold you up.”

“You Make Me Brave”

“As Your love, in wave after wave
Crashes over me, crashes over me
For You are for us
You are not against us
Champion of Heaven
You made a way for all to enter in”

“So I will let You draw me out beyond the shore
Into Your grace
Your grace”

“You make me brave
You make me brave
No fear can hinder now the love that made a way”

“Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)”

“You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep
My faith will stand”

“When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace”

“Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You’ve never failed and You won’t start now”

“Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior”

“Redeemed”

“Then You look at this prisoner and say to me “son
Stop fighting a fight it’s already been won”

“But when I hear You whisper, “Child lift up your head”
I remember, oh God, You’re not done with me yet”

“I am redeemed, You set me free
So I’ll shake off these heavy chains
Wipe away every stain, now I’m not who I used to be
I am redeemed, I’m redeemed”
